Finally, Zack Efron appear for the first time about his stint in rehab.

Although he's referred to it a bit before in the media, the Neighbors star got candid in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
"I was drinking a lot, way too much," he explained, acknowledging he did drugs as well. "It's never one specific thing. I mean, you're in your 20s, single, going through life in Hollywood, you know? Everything is thrown at you."

He also discusses attending AA meetings and seeing a therapist. "I just started going," Zac shares. "And I think it's changed my life. I'm much more comfortable in my own skin. Things are so much better now."

Still, the 26-year-old actor, who was involved in a late night fight on Skid Row recently and wears a six month sobriety chip, admits that staying sober is a constant battle. "It's a never ending struggle," Zac says.

Ironically, he plays a hard-partying frat boy in Neighbors, which opens in theaters on May 9.
